AcromyrmexLundii are highly social. They belong to the leaf-cutter ants and feed on a homegrown fungus with which they live in symbiosis. This fungus is cultivated by the workers using leaves, flowers, and fruit. They stand out due to their distinctive coloring. For a growing colony, three separate areas are best for optimal housing. When feeding leaves, care should be taken to lightly spray the leaves with water. A heat mat or heating cable is ideal for heating. However, the heat mat should not be placed directly under the tank. husbandry information - Lat.
