Odontomachus chelifer

Odontomachus chelifer is one of the largest snapping jaw species in the world.
They possess an extremely effective sting; one sting is usually sufficient, even for larger prey. Odontomachus chelifer is very active and actively hunts for prey. A small hollow under a piece of bark is recommended for nesting, although they also like to dig their own nests in the ground.
