Tetramorium bicarinatum is one of the most industrious ants. It reproduces very quickly, adapts well to changes, and only requires room temperature. Tetramorium bicarinatum belongs to the pest family. Pestants is a term used to describe ant species that are considered pests, especially when they occur in large numbers in human habitations or buildings. Because Tetramorium bicarinatum is inbreeding, it is not necessarily a beginner species, as outbreaks can result in not only escape of workers, but also potentially of queens.

Ich hatte mir aus Jux noch eine Kolonie Tetramorium bicarinatum zu einer anderen Art hinzu bestellt, da der Preis doch sehr gut war. Die Kolonie kam gut und mit etwas Brut bei mir an und hat sich seit dem auch gut bei mir weiter entwickelt. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen
